Two anti-gay organizations -- Concerned Women for America (CWFA) and the
American Family Association (AFA) -- have organized a campaign to
discredit the acclaimed documentary "Scout's Honor" which aired on PBS'
"P.O.V." program, Tuesday, June 19. "Scout's Honor" documents efforts to
change the Boy Scouts of America policy banning gay scouts and scout
leaders. The film won the Audience Award for best documentary and the
Freedom of Expression Award at this year's Sundance Film Festival.
AFA and CWFA have sent action alerts to their membership lists calling
on members to contact their local PBS station and complain about the
broadcast.
